Driving Change For Developmental Sustainability

Who We Are

NO BOX INITIATIVE (CAC/IT/NO129171) is a social welfare organization that was established to channel resources to address contemporary societal issues. The intent to do this infers that the organization delivers in conducting training sessions, sensitization and outreach, advocacy and multi-stakeholder engagement, communities and key stakeholders to achieve sustainable development.

“Even in the absence of certain resources, resourcefulness is the ultimate resource…”

Our Mission Statement

This age, the 21st century, comes with a tremendous opportunities and associated challenges. It will be primitive of us to keep using the same approaches to problem solving as was used 5, 10, 15 and more years ago. Thus, compelled upon us, certainly is, the responsibility to, among others such as digital training and mentoring, propagate effectively, the dynamic approach to problem solving with 21st century relevant skills such as critical thinking skills, creativity and digital literacy—-as well as the ability to integrate these, relevantly, into solving real world problems by not having to be told to think out of the box as there actually is NO BOX. Even in the absence of certain resources, resourcefulness is the ultimate resource.

Children aren’t simply the leaders of tomorrow but also the ones to the effects of our day to day acts, positive or otherwise fall upon them in both long and short run.

Our Goal

Achieving inclusive and quality education for all reaffirms the belief that education is one of the most powerful and proven vehicles for sustainable development. This goal ensures that all girls and boys complete free primary and secondary schooling by 2030. It also aims to provide equal access to affordable vocational training, to eliminate gender and wealth disparities, and achieve universal access to a quality higher education.

It is therefore imperative that they have access to inclusive and equitable quality education as well as quality primary health care amongst others. They should also receive relevant mentorship and leadership skills as appropriate. This way, we could put part of our minds at rest as these next generation leaders will be well equipped to lead.

“Having access to a quality education is a human right. Providing free, quality and inclusive education is one of the best investments any government can make to ensure a just and sustainable society and to achieve the Global Goals”

The Sustainable Development Goals can only be realized with a strong commitment to partnerships and cooperation.
